God Speed, what is it?


What is God Speed? Scripturally, which means in its original language, that being Greek, it isn't God's speed at all. The words in the Greek for God speed is really one word. And that word is "chairo". And it's meaning is to "rejoice or to be glad". It is really a greeting or solutation and has nothing to do with the Speed of God. And being rendered God speed makes it very confusing for anyone who does not search these things out.

This word "chairo" pronounced "khah'ee-ro" appears in the New Testament 74 times. And each time it should have been translated "rejoice".
